 Highlight of learning outcome:

  • Basic functionality the Raspberry Pi controller board, and careful set up and configuration before usage;
  • Fundamentals in a Linux OS file system;
  • Gain fluency in working a Linux System with important system commands;
  • Basics in administrative tasks for manipulating your own PI system.
  • Python Programming and understanding its data structure
  • Know the fundamental development tasks in Linux
  • Learn how to create an ubiquitous program building tool which runs on Unix - Makefile structure - to simplify building your software.

Description: This is the next level after the Raspberry PI I workshop This workshop focuses on Computer Vision (CV) technology. CV enables the digital world to interact with the physical world, such as self-driving cars maneuver around their surroundings, recognizing various objects. It has become significant technology in advancing artificial intelligence realm, such as machine learning.

arduinoBundleKit

Projects like the unmanned vehicle competition by the AWS Race, or RoboCupJunior's competitions, using computer vision efficiently and effectively should increase performance greatly.

This is a required knowledge for participating in the more advanced RoboCupJunior  Leagues such as Maze and Soccer - Heavy Weight Competition.

Highlight of learning outcome:
  • Further understanding in important Python Tuple data structure
  • Utilize the robust Python Numpy Library
  • Learn basics in image processing.
  • Learn Open Source Computer Vision control with Python.
  • Learn Canny Edge Detection, and/or KNN Algorithm.
  • Use OpenCV to identify object in real time.

Take Home Devices:

At the end of the workshop,  the Raspberry Pi Kit  will be yours to keep. Better yet, you will have completely set up your system for you to continue cool projects at home. The kit will include:

  • PI 4, and all devices for Level I class.
  • PI Cam, and case for the cam.
